The Waterside Foodbank is branching out by selling good secondhand clothes from it's shop in Hampton Lane, Blackfield. The shop opening times will remain the same at present as for the foodbank. The clothing department will open on Monday 6th September 2010 from 10am to 12 noon.
If you have new or good secondhand clothes you would like to donate to this local charity, you can either drop them off at the shop during opening hours, drop us an e-mail through our web site or contact us on the foodbank phone.

We are Waterside Ecumenical Projects, a registered christian charity, set up to support local communities in the Waterside Area through life-changing sustainable projects. Our group is made up of representatives from the Methodist, Catholic, Community Church, Baptist, and Church of England denominations in the Hardley, Holbury, Blackfield, Fawley and Calshot areas.
Waterside Foodbank is one such project and was launched in December 2008. The foodbank is a straightforward system of collection, collation and distribution of basic food items in the form of emergency food boxes which offers a temporary, practical stopgap for those in crisis.
